Perhaps a dreamer and a bit of a romantic, wrapped in a warped sense of humour. Combine that with a pen and scrap of paper and the urge to write begins!
I was probably 10 years old when I wrote my first story. What a thrill! It has always been about little things – everyday living – things that struck some emotional chord. For me, it was inspiration wrapped in laughter.

Inspired by a bowl of jelly beans
My husband loved taking photos and had a knack for capturing the simpliest but most intriguing things in every situation. Some years ago I found one in particular that struck a chord – a bowl of jelly beans on a boardroom table. He had been in a business meeting. Who knows what serious topics were being discussed and what plans were being formulated. The notes were meticulous – ready for review and contemplation about next steps but it was the bowl of jelly beans that spoke volumes. It was that photo that inspired my collection of writings about little things, titled “The BoBo Collection”.
The Collection includes letters, short stories, poems, and quotes some of which can be found on this site.
It is nothing more than little things
a story ~ perhaps a recipe or two ~
or reaching out to say good morning
to let you know I thought of you.
Perhaps it was a beautiful sunrise
or something funny that came to mind
Perhaps I sensed you needed a friend
or something to help you unwind.
Perhaps a line that offered guidance
or inspiration to strengthen the day
Really! It is just about little things
~ things that happen along the way.
