Good Morning
I woke this morning with the sound of rain dancing on the roof and I thought of you. And I thought …
This is it!
I will stop everything right this minute and send you a card.
So while I have my coffee
and figure out my day
I’ll write a little message
for there’s always lots to say!
I will tell you what I’m doing
and say that I am fine
I will ask what you are up to
and how you’ll pass your time.
And then I’ll sketch some flowers
and reach out my hand to you
So you will know you’re not alone
no matter what you do.
Forget-Me-Nots to let you know
I thought of you this morning
Have a wonderful day!
Am sitting here watching for the time to call Nic for morning classes. David and Megan are in St. John’s today. Megan has appointments with the Cleft Palate Clinic – first time since covid started. They’ll be back again tonight. Then tomorrow afternoon Nic and I will head to Sandy Point for the weekend as Megan has a hockey tournament in Corner Brook. They never stop! Wonderful really! But OH HOW I HATE HOCKEY! Too bad it isn’t karate or painting classes or something sensible.
I imagine you have just started your work day. Ah but you are so fortunate despite the troubling times. And before you know it, time will have flown and you’ll be blowing goodbye kisses to all those colleagues you seldom see and don’t really like anyway. hahaha But on a more serious note, how are you Mom and Dad doing? Is that 150 lb boulder in your tummy getting heavier or lighter? Hold fast, MaryLynn. I know it’s hard. I will keep sending positive energy, love and hugs every day. And you … well it is essential that you keep that beautiful smile going – for you, for Dave and for your parents. Believe it or not, that smile builds strength within.
Any luck, we’ll get a chance to chat one day soon.
