Good Morning
I woke this morning with the sound of rain dancing on the roof and I thought of you. And I thought …
This is it!
I will stop everything right this minute and send you a card.
So while I have my coffee
and figure out my day
I’ll write a little message
for there’s always lots to say!
I will tell you what I’m doing
and say that I am fine
I will ask what you are up to
and how you’ll pass your time.
And then I’ll sketch some flowers
and reach out my hand to you
So you will know you’re not alone
no matter what you do.
Forget-Me-Nots to let you know
I thought of you this morning
Have a wonderful day!
Am sitting here just enjoying the morning while Nic is in class. David and Megan are in St. John’s today. Megan has appointments with the Cleft Palate Clinic – first time since covid started. They’ll be back again tonight. Then tomorrow afternoon Nic and I will head to Sandy Point for the weekend as Megan has a hockey tournament in Corner Brook. They never stop! Wonderful really! But OH HOW I HATE HOCKEY! Too bad it isn’t karate or painting classes or something sensible.
I imagine you and Edgar are having a mid-morning coffee break right about now and probably with neighbours dropping by. Please say “hello” to everyone for me. I sure hope all of you are doing well and that you’ve avoided the flu bug, the covid virus and and and. It has been nasty for a good many – viruses, hips, knees, various other things and, for you, that darned ole arthritis. And, don’t you find that it seems these days we are all in and out of isolation of some sort for one reason or another. Good grief but what’s that all about.
I am sending you positive energy, love and hugs. And you … well it is essential that you keep that beautiful smile going – for you, for Edgar and for family and friends.
And no worries about writing back. I know how much you hate writing. l0l Any luck, we’ll get a chance to chat one day soon.
