Good Morning

I woke this morning and I thought of you.  And I thought …

This is it!

I will stop everything right this minute and send you a card.

So while I have my coffee
and figure out my day
I’ll write a little message
for there’s always lots to say!

I will tell you what I’m doing
and say that I am fine
I will ask what you are up to
and how you’ll pass your time.

And then I’ll sketch some flowers
just a few in a bouquet
in hopes they’ll bring a smile to you
and brighten up your day

.

Forget-Me-Nots to let you know
I thought of you this morning

Am sitting here just enjoying the quiet of the morning. The rain has stopped, it is snowing just a little and it’s a little colder now. I have a feeling it will be a beautiful winter day. After school Nic and I will head to Sandy Point for the weekend as David will be going to Corner Brook with Megan for a hockey tournament.  They never stop!  Wonderful really!  But OH HOW I HATE HOCKEY!  Too bad it isn’t karate or painting classes or something sensible. I say that with tongue in cheek as I am sure that is sacrilege to the Bouzane family. lol

I hope you are feeling well these days.  I often wonder about the day-to-day of your work life.  Is it as hectic and demanding as it used to be?  Ah but before you know it (and too soon really as times goes way too quickly), you will be able to walk away and enjoy retirement.  My Mom used to always say, “Don’t wish away your time”.  That word of caution and wisdom, I pass along to you.  But somehow I know without a doubt you are already wise. Time is precious.

How are the children doing?  I think of them often, particularly Ryan as he deals with MS.  I sense he is a brave soul as he has inherited your strength.  And, how is Cyril?  Please say “hello” to him for me.  I’ll be in touch soon about my taxes (in hopes he’ll be able to do them for me again this year :).

With any luck we’ll get a chance to see each other sometime during the course of the year – fingers crossed.  In the meantime, I am sending you positive energy, love and hugs.  And you … well, keep that beautiful smile going – for you, for Cyrily and for family and friends.
