Happy Monday My Treasured Friends!
So while I have my coffee
and figure out my day
I’ll write a little message
for there’s always lots to say!
I will tell you what I’m doing
and say that I am fine
I will ask what you are up to
and how you’ll pass your time.
And then I’ll sketch some flowers
just a few in a bouquet
in hopes they’ll bring a smile to you
and brighten up your day
.
Forget-Me-Nots to let you know
I thought of you this morning
Am sitting here just enjoying the quiet of the day and wondering how you are doing and what you are up to these days. I do hope you and the girls are well. It has been such a long time since we’ve been in touch. You’ve been on my mind over the past little while so I decided it is time to stop everything and send you a note and a card.
I’ve been busy with David and the children. I am still going back and forth to Gander every second week and then there’s always Megan’s hockey on the weekends. It never stops during the winter. This past weekend there was a tournament in Corner Brook. Nic stayed with me in Sandy Point. I’m not a lover of hockey so am happy to stay at home and enjoy my other grandchild.
It’s still winter here though we haven’t had it too bad overall this year. I’ll just be happy to see the tail end of it. I’m getting ready to get some plants started indoors this week. It’s early, I know, but I am hoping to nuture along some flowers so when I transplant outdoors in late June, I will have blossoms in the garden. Last year I was too late getting started and nothing bloomed until August.
I started writing this note and making the card early morning and here it is mid afternoon already. Time flies when I start these things. Of course, there were other distractions along the way – making a batch of bread and the like. Wish I could just take a dart across the road to bring you a loaf. lol
That’s it for now. Sending love and hugs
