I haven’t heard from you since my visit. How’s everything? Did you get that appointment with the doctor Edgar? What did he say?
Gussie, I just took some cookies out of the oven and I thought of your lemon squares. Are you doing much baking for Christmas? I decided to give homemade bread to Dave’s family and mine. Oh my … I need my head examined but it sure smells good in this house. lol
How I love making special cards for the special people in my life. These electronic cards are not quite a nice as the paper kind but it’s still such a pleasure for you remain in my thoughts and in my heart as lifelong friends.
We are always forging new paths and creating new traditions while we cherish each memory of days gone by.
Life changes as the
years come and go –
that’s natural and
the way it should be.
But let’s take care
that the heart and
meaning of
Christmas
remain the same.
Merry Christmas from My Home to Yours
The Message as always…
Hope | Peace | Love | Joy
Wishing You …
laughter in each and every day
the special joys of family
and

and
may the coming year
bring you blessings beyond measure
Here’s to good health,
happiness and adventure
It is tradition to include a recipe with my cards.
This Year's Recipe
Turkey and Dressing Casserole (Christmas 2025)
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups cubed cooked turkey
1/4 cup onion (chopped)
1/4 cup celery (chopped)
1/4 cup salad dressing
1 egg (beaten)
3/4 cup milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Dressing
2 cups bread crumbs
1 tsp savoury
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions
Make dressing and divide in half. Spread 1/2 of dressing on bottom of casserole dish (9x9x2). Combine turkey, onion, celery and salad dressing. Spoon over dressing. Top with remaining dressing.
Combine egg and milk mixing well and pour over the casserole. Refrigerate for about 2 hour. Pour soup over casserole and bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top and return to the oven until melted.
TIP: This is a great way to use leftover turkey. Other times, I substitute chicken or fish.
