Get Ready to Take That Turn
The fun in life is in the turns we take
For each path brings us something new
It’s how we handle it and it’s the letting go
that makes the difference in what we do.
Sometimes we come to a fork in the road
not sure to turn left or turn right
We know that nothing will be the same again
and no guideposts within our site.
Take a rest when you reach that fork in the road
Get rid of the load on your back
Take your time and be sure to think things through
Then be brave and head out on your track.
You’ll need strength and purpose to push ahead
There should be nothing to stand in your way
Up to this point, you’ve done what you can
Now it is your turn to play.
So when you come to the fork in the road
Be open to new things and to learn
Whether left or right, it matters not
Get ready to make that turn.
