Why is it that some people can capture that perfect photo! Perhaps they have a special eye, or maybe it’s the camera, or maybe they just know what they are doing.
I have been experimenting with the camera lately. It is a big deal to get a good quality photo shot – at least for me. Mine are always the wrong angle, over exposed, out of focus and a little blurry. Sometimes I capture everything except the thing I wanted.
There was dancing on the roof, non-stop and joyful. Such a beautiful sound – like friends and family had come to my party and had danced the night away. I love waking up to the rain.
There was a gentle wind blowing and as daylight broke I could see the mist and fog out on the river. Such a perfect scene giving freedom for a lazy day … not that I needed an excuse, mind you. But mornings like this seem to give special permission for quiet time to sit by the fire and daydream, to curl up with a book, to doodle and write – to do whatever the mood strikes.
And then the sun broke through! Gone was the desire to sit and relax. Instead, I felt excitement as I changed gears, pulled on my rubber boots, grabbed the camera and headed outside to capture the morning. It was going to be a beauty. Sunshine and glimpses of winter’s end.
If something lies heavy on your mind, DO something. There’s nothing like hard work to clear your head. It will feed your soul with the strength you need.
