This is an excerpt of a poem I wrote in February 2009. It was part of a good morning message to the two most wonderful men in my life, my husband and son.
Good Morning

It makes no difference the weather
The day, the month or the year
Just take advantage of the moment you’re in
And let this ‘good morning’ bring you cheer.
Give blessings for friends and family
For the many things on which you survive
Treasure each moment that’s yours today
For it’s so good to be alive!
Really, it’s not about the weather BUT when you wake to a beautiful sunrise, don’t you feel the excitement of a new day?
Such a wonderful day to be alive!
