Isn’t it amazing how the year slipped by so quickly! Before you know it, you’ll be looking for reservations to come home again.
I am assuming you don’t have snow yet given the news of all the rain and flooding. We had a couple of storms and lots of wind BUT it got mild a couple of days ago and rainied. There’s been a dusting of snow since morning so the ground is partially white again. Seriously … snow is NEEDED in the winter.
I often think of you both and wonder how life is treating you since you went back. I do hope all those health issues with Blair and Craig have settled down and that they’re feeling better. Did Blair recover all his site?? And did John get a job yet? What about you two – everything going okay?
Life in Central is always so busy but such great fun. And here it is Christmas again. How I love the preparations, making cards, baking, and and and… Best time of year!
How I love making special cards for the special people in my life. These electronic cards are not quite a nice as the paper kind but it’s still such a pleasure for you remain in my thoughts and in my heart as lifelong friends.
We are always forging new paths and creating new traditions while we cherish each memory of days gone by.
Life changes as the
years come and go –
that’s natural and
the way it should be.
But let’s take care
that the heart and
meaning of
Christmas

This Year's Recipe
Turkey and Dressing Casserole (Christmas 2025)
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups cubed cooked turkey
1/4 cup onion (chopped)
1/4 cup celery (chopped)
1/4 cup salad dressing
1 egg (beaten)
3/4 cup milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Dressing
2 cups bread crumbs
1 tsp savoury
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions
Make dressing and divide in half. Spread 1/2 of dressing on bottom of casserole dish (9x9x2). Combine turkey, onion, celery and salad dressing. Spoon over dressing. Top with remaining dressing.
Combine egg and milk mixing well and pour over the casserole. Refrigerate for about 2 hour. Pour soup over casserole and bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top and return to the oven until melted.
TIP: This is a great way to use leftover turkey. Other times, I substitute chicken or fish.
