Perc and Audrey, you have been on my mind since last week. This will be a difficult Christmas for all of you. In the midst of all the grief and turmoil, I do hope you will find moments of peace, joy, love and hope. Those are the true and lasting messages of Christmas.
It is wonderful that the two of you are close by your families to give them love and support … and to bring joy and laughter wherever you can.
May the coming year
bring you blessings beyond measure
Here’s to good health,
happiness and adventure

This Year's Recipe
Turkey and Dressing Casserole (Christmas 2025)
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups cubed cooked turkey
1/4 cup onion (chopped)
1/4 cup celery (chopped)
1/4 cup salad dressing
1 egg (beaten)
3/4 cup milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Dressing
2 cups bread crumbs
1 tsp savoury
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions
Make dressing and divide in half. Spread 1/2 of dressing on bottom of casserole dish (9x9x2). Combine turkey, onion, celery and salad dressing. Spoon over dressing. Top with remaining dressing.
Combine egg and milk mixing well and pour over the casserole. Refrigerate for about 2 hour. Pour soup over casserole and bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top and return to the oven until melted.
TIP: This is a great way to use leftover turkey. Other times, I substitute chicken or fish.
