Over the past few weeks there have been several eagles swooping in towards shore as they make their way up the river. Such magnificent creatures! They always remind me of the strong women in my life – particularly YOU!

In indigenous cultures the eagle is considered sacred!
It represents love and is the first of the seven Sacred Teachings.
The eagle has the ability to fly highest and closest to the Creator. It also has the sight to see all the ways of being from great distances. The Eagle’s teachings of love are in the core of all teachings, therefore an eagle feather is considered the highest honor and a sacred gift.
